Cindependent Film Festival is joining forces with filmmaker/programmer Anna Kipervaser to start an experimental section this year, programmed by Kipervaser. Please submit in the Experimental category on FilmFreeway!

Note: The festival is run by an all volunteer staff, the submission fees go towards running the festival and providing accommodation for visiting filmmakers. That means that for the time being, there are submission fees, there are no screening fees, and the festival does not pay for travel. Kipervaser and Cindependent acknowledge that this is problematic and are working on this matter long-term. At Cindependent, filmmakers do come first, therefore, in the meantime, if you need a submission fee waiver, email founder/executive director Allyson West at allyson@cindependentfilmfest.org (and CC anna.kipervaser@gmail.com) to tell her why you'd like to screen at Cindependent and why the fee waiver is important for you.
