The Interbay Cinema Society (ICS) is accepting applications for the next round of Lightpress Grants. The deadline is May 31st at 11:59 PM PT. Awards will be announced on July 1st.

Since its inception in 2016, ICS has given over $100,000 in $1,000 grants to filmmakers to have their work digitized at Lightpress, a transfer house based in Seattle, which is also home to the Interbay Cinema Society.

Please note: Because of a combination of factors: Covid, some staffing changes at our transfer house, the vagaries of the US mail service, and others, we have had to reconsider the scope of our grant-giving.  For the foreseeable future, we will limit our grants to filmmakers who live in the US and whose film elements are located here. We encourage you to consider sending your film to the Interbay Cinema Society’s annual Engauge Experimental Film Festival. The festival begins accepting submissions on March 1st.
