The title is inspired by a beautiful Schumann lied, Der Nußbaum: 'Das Mägdlein horchet, es rauscht im Baum; / Sehnend, Wähnend sinkt es lächelnd in Schlaf und Traum.' (English translation: 'The young girl hears rustling in the tree; / Longingly, wonderingly she sinks into sleep and dreams.' |
