I hate to quibble but the above quote was taken from Ushio literature, one
of the companies that manufactures ELC lamps. Seems to me like the
foil/filament could be designed in such a way as to direct light that with
the aid of the reflector would focus to a finer point.
Having said this, I would still be curious enough to do a side by side
comparison, but don't think I'll rush out to get an old Kodakscope.
However, I may get an Eastman 25. ; )
