Just to clarify what you saw in the film by a group of students from the
Universität der Künste (UdK) that Freya passed along: since 1998 there have
been a series of presentations on the walls of the Berlin subway stations
between Zoologischer Garten and Hansaplatz. The work in question adds the
"framing device" of the suitcase as the fictional source of the images in
question and otherwise is just a documentation of one year's offering in the
"U-bahn Kino".
I'm not terribly knowledgeable about the particular manner in which the
images are produced in this particular case beyond the fact that individual
images are projected onto the walls of the subway tunnel and are then
connected as suggested in another post by means of the subway rider's
perception into a flowing image.
