This is the design fault in those tanks. I mended mine with
"Superglue", which works, but you have to handle the spiral carefully,
and eventually they seem to break again, but they can be reglued more
than once.
Does anyone know where these tanks can be purchased? I believe they're
still being maufactured, because until a couple of years ago someone in
London was importing them, including one that takes 100 feet unbroken,
Nicky Hamlyn.
