Hi Michael,
That paper was part of the Avant-Garde/Neo-Avant-Garde conference in
Edinburgh back in 2002, one of a regular series of conferences on the
avant-garde organized by Dietrich Scheunmann at the University of
Edinburgh. The most recent one (September 2004) focused specifically on
avant-garde cinema; the papers presented there will appear in a
forthcoming anthology (hopefully before the year is out).
Sadly, Dietrich passed away last year, but the co-organizer of the
conference, Alexander Graf (who's taken over editing duty on the new
anthology), may have Schobert's contact info. Alexander's email is:
