You can also use a Bolex as a contact printer. If you
spool the original up with some raw stock, point the
camera towards a very bright lite, it makes a contact
print. although if the original is very dense with
paint or muck it might have a hard time running
through the gate.
tabletop contact printing is a successful way to make
prints. you can run raw stock with the original
through a synchronizer in the darkroom, using a pen
light as your printing light.
i've tried both of these to get interesting and very
different results
