The reputation that AAC had amongst young people when I lived in the
Bay area ('01-'02) was that they were expensive to attend and it was a
difficult environment to complete your studies in, but those who made
it through the undergraduate programs were technically adept and able
to get work easily. The photography of one student I knew there was
very good, and his darkroom skills were exquisite.
