I think he is reffering to a kind of 16mm print stock
for putting optical soundtracks on. It has a stock
code of st8D but is 16mm as opposed to standard8 film.
It confused me for a second too. Must be something in
the english water supply! ;)
Kodak make a similar stock and I bet fuji do too, but
I'm late getting out the houe so can't diig out the
details right now.
