This is VERY much true here at the University of Texas - Austin. Most copy
stores clear EVERY single essay in a course packet and there is a "Reproduced
with permission of..." notice at the beginning of EACH essay. For better or
worse, this is why course packets are now in the $70 or $80 range instead of
$20-$40. One prof told me the most he has ever received from his essays being
reproduced in course packets is four cents. Fred, I've yet to see any of your
essays reproduced in a course packet here at UT.
