I've used Jennifer's bleach formula many, many times. And it works
superbly. I'd encourage experimenting with developers, too. Virtually
anything will work. I frequently used dektol (because it was "free" and I
was broke) to good effect. You can also safely omit the clear, if you don't
mind some staining. In fact, not washing between developer and bleach,
while possibly unwise, can also introduce some lovely stains.
