Hey Frameworkers,

I wanted to let everybody know about this year's Images Festival, now online
at www.imagesfestival.com

Highlights include:

3 Feature-length films, including Mike Hoolboom's Fascination and a free
screening of Sharon Lockhart's Pine Flat.

8 International Shorts programs, including work by John Price, Mark Lapore,
Sami van Ingen, Izabella Pruska-Oldenhof, Jayne Parker, Nicky Hamlyn, Hala
ElKoussy, Shelly Silver, Rebecca Baron, Yuiko Matsayama, Zoe Beloff, Guy
Ben-Ner. Representing over 25 countries in total. Pay what you can!

2 Nights of Super 8 film, new and old, shown exclusively on Super 8! Also
pay what you can!

Spotlights on Quebecois expat, Vincent Grenier, and Cuban exile, Nicolas
Guillen Landrian.

Two programs of Experimental Indian work (historical and new) brought from
Mumbai by Experimenta's Shai Heredia.

A curated program of animated trauma, including a rare 16mm print of Winsor
McCay's The Sinking of the Lusitania.

Plus live performances with slide projectors, 3-D digital environments,
flourescent lightbulbs and percussive paperclips!

And finally, we also have a large installation component, representing 30
artists in 20 venues around town.

April 13-22 in Toronto, Canada. With all our pwyc shows, free gallery
exhibits and reasonably priced special events, it just might be worth the
trip! Take a look at our website for more info!

Best,
Chris
