Not really. Though 1.66:1 is nearer to 16:9 (1.77:1) than 4:3
(1.33:1), we are used to see letterboxed movies where the black frames
are up & down the screen. If you try to see a 1.66:1 AR movie on 16:9
you'll end with black bars on both sides instead.
