If this is the same DVD/DVD-ROM that I have, the transfers are atrocious.
It's wonderful to have something of Cornell's that I can study in an intense
way, but the quality is not terribly high, especially for the price.
Furthermore, on my DVD, Centuries of June is black and white (it was
originally in beautiful Kodachrome). Ugh. Anyway. I love and watch it often,
but thought that people should be aware of what they're getting.
I'm less certain about this complaint, so I thought I'd air it as a
question: I think all of the silent films were transferred at silent speed,
but in my memory some of Cornell's silent films run at 24 fps (such as A
Legend for Founatins). Jeanne?
