Flying Spot in Seattle has an S8 gate on their Thomson Shadow
(similar to a Spirit) they've been recommended here before.

DuArt has an S8 gate for their ITK Y-front (modified Cintel URSA,
forget which) but it's in their catalog as being Standard def
transfers... don't know about HD then (I looked into it for some 16mm
where I wanted a "Cintel look" but did not pursue)

I think I'd be inclined to go with the Shadow really... I'm partial
to some later Cintel machines but grain wise I think Shadow, probably
has the advantage...

Technicolor in NYC had an S8 gate for _their_ Spirit but I don't
know, I'm not sure who owned it --- not sure where it is

(I don't shoot S8, just pass along tech gossip which I get way too
much of ;-)
