The 40 short films are up at jonasmekas.com and the 365 film project is
coming soon. I've only had a chance to browse the site briefly, but I'm
just curious if others share my feelings of great joy (at things like the
tribute "To Barbara Rubin with Love" being available on the internet) and
feelings of slowly emerging dread about these times we're living in (at the
$5000 iPod + 40 Films limited edition set, or the $1000 limited edition
DVD-Rs)
The short films, buy the way, are $3.99 for 320 x 240 resolution or $6.99
for 720 x 480 resolution. They will be available through February 10.
Overall, I'm personally very excited about this project for various reasons
I can elaborate on if this thread evolves. But I'm curious if others also
have some mixed feelings, too.
