Just wanted to add that the Chicago Film Archives is in the process
of having all seven parts of the Urban Crisis Series (of which Cicero
March is one part) restored through grants from the NFPF. Eventually
(sometime this year, fingers crossed), they will be available for
screenings and for viewing for research purposes. These filmmakers -
the Film Group. Mike Gray, Howard Alk, etc.- are a major focus of our
work at the CFA and we are committed to making their films available
and more widely known.
Please feel free to contact Nancy Watrous at
email suppressed for more information or
screening/viewing requests.
Thanks so much for all of your interest and discussion on this.
Thanks,
Andy Uhrich
