yes... it's me again...
i'm all or nothing... here then gone...
not reading for months, then posting 3 times in one
day... etc. etc.
so.
does anyone here have a preferred lab or method for
creating internegs from unsplit regular 8mm
kodachrome?
i have some beautiful kodachrome unsplit standard 8mm
film that was processed at dwayne's recently. i'm
dying to work with it, but i don't want to risk
damaging the original when i start running it through
the optical printer, and contact printing, and running
it through my old scratchy analysis projector, etc.
etc.
but it appears that there are no labs in canada that
will make internegs for me.
in terms of 16mm printing in canada, the only labs are
in vancouver... rainmaker, and technicolor. neither
of them have any interneg stock, and rainmaker tells
me that the pitch of regular 8mm film is different
from 16mm, and technicolor says that it's the sprocket
holes that cause the problem.
whatever the problem is, they say that if they try to
make an interneg of this unsplit 8mm film onto 16mm,
that it will get torn up in their machines.
rainmaker recommended yale labs in los angeles.
does anyone here have a preferred lab or method for
creating internegs from unsplit regular 8mm
kodachrome?
thanks so much,
