i told some people about helen and her work in
new orleans when i was in berlin and everyone
there was sighing and wondering how long its
going to take before the u.s. gets it act
together ...
i'm back in nyc again and looking at all my things
and personal effects and there on my shelf is
indeed a recipe for disaster ...
i think for that in this small community
helen was able to touch many through her
sensitivity and the power of spirit to create
and bring that spirit of creation and positive
energy to others ... its indeed a loss ...
and, as freya and others noted, another very
american story ...
