very funny.

you're probably referring to this profile from our site:

Sara Petty grew up in Texas and studied painting and animation at UCLA and at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Her film FURIES, described as a study in movement and composition and an exploration of the mysterious consciousness, won 14 first place awards at international festivals, including the Ottawa and Chicago Film Festivals. Her subsequent work, PRELUDES IN MAGICAL TIME, won the Independent Animation Award at the 1989 Animation Celebration Festival. Petty has animated pieces for Klasky-Csupo and Acme Filmworks in Los Angeles and is currently engaged by Disney to work on the Beethoven section of FANTASIA II.

This is a reprint of an article Bill Moritz wrote in 1997 for the Absolute Panushka
Website on Experimental Animation (when Fantasia 2 was in production).

Naturally, when we reprint previously published articles, we don't edit them.
We have recently incorporated the Absolut Panushka profiles into our larger
History Database project. The attribution and date seem to have gotten
lost in the process. (We'll have to fix that).

For any artist in our profiles list, you can see all the info we currently have in our database:
Biography, Filmography, and Bibliography (including links to articles on other sites and
articles which we've digitized and published on our site).

The amount of information we have on each artist varies.
In some cases, there is just a link to their homepage.
In others, such as Jules Engel, we have the complete complement, including
a photo of Jules and stills of his work.

We've used the profiles written by Bill for Absolut Panushka in 1997
in those cases where we don't currently have anything newer.

But our database is a work-in-progress,
constantly being updated and expanded.
We gratefully welcome contributions of missing information,
and corrections.

Thank you.
