I really haven't found any forums focused on experimental video and video
art. If you know of any please share.

In my experience, and I admit that it is not nearly as deep as many people
here, online forums are either for videographers (wedding photographers,
basically) or for people who consider themselves FILM makers, even if
they're too broke to afford to shoot film (Withoutabox.com type forums). I
have not seen a forum dedicated to experimental video/video art or, as I
asked about here and helped start this thread, a forum for the discussion
of experimental, time-based art, whatever the medium.
I cited the listserv description you pasted when I first asked because it
seems to be clearly drawing a line. While the line is important for
technical and historical discussions (perhaps more of a focus of the
list), I think it is unfortunate in terms of the "experimental" (and
conceptual) part of the "experimental film".
However, I have no intention on lobbying anyone to change a list that
clealy serves its purpose and my question stands if anyone has suggestions
for the sort of forums described above or any interest in joining such a
forum should it be created.
