Assistant Professor of Film/Video

Jacksonville University is seeking candidates for a full-time tenure-
track faculty position in film and video studies (production) to
begin in Fall 2007. Qualified candidates should have the terminal
degree (highest degree in field), or its equivalent, in filmmaking or
related field with a documented ability of creating, and executing
film/television projects on a major scale, DGA membership is a plus.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach narrative
production courses in DV formats, as well as courses in digital post-
production and cinematography. Instruction levels range from
introductory classes to advanced project supervision. The position
also requires committee participation, involvement in the curricular
and technological development of the program and the cultivation of
relationships, on behalf of the department, with external creative
and professional communities. College-level teaching experience is
desirable.

Tenure track 9 month position, Salary Range: $45,000- $55,000 plus
benefits.
