They're on the warm side - which I tend to like - but when I project
like xenon workprint on a tungsten projector I will put a blue -
usually 1/2 CTB - filter in front of the lens to keep things "honest"
if I want to see how it will play on a xenon machine.
(CTB = Color Temperature Blue; a full is equivalent to a # 80 camera
filter) (The full might be more 'accurate' but the half is OK for
the 'impression').
I still think carbon arc looks better than xenon but what can you do ?
-Sam (whose 'workprints' from film are one and zeroes lately)
