using red things and print stock.

Hello,

This is my first post to the list. gulp.

I am about to embark on some filming where I plan to exploit the non
sensitivity of ST8 print stock to red light to produce trick shots.
Before I go shopping for body paint, fabric, gels and paint I wonder if
anyone has any experience they can pass on.
Should I be careful about the shade of red? is Back ground best red or
black?
Should I light red things brightly to eliminate shadows or darkly to make
it less likely to expose?
Should I be using other colours for light / objects I want to expose?
I am thinking about making blue glassses to visualise the effect. Is this
a stupid idea.

that kind of thing.

love
