Beginning today, San Francisco Cinematheque is making
its Program Notes, which detail and/or contextualize
the work exhibited at its screenings, available for
free download (in pdf format) via the calendar section
of our website:

Just click on the Program Note link below the program
description and download away! Our screenings for
February 4, 9, 11 and 18 (but not yet 25, alas) are up
there now. Please check it out.
These will be posted on a (more or less) weekly basis.
It's probable that this will transpire after the
screenings occur but we'll try to make it happen as
soon as we can.
For the time being, this will not include Notes for
past screenings (but we're working on it). Notes
concerning Programs between 1996 and 2001 have been
compiled in indexed and cross-referenced book form and
available for purchase from:
