Sonbet's "Hall of Mirrors" [Was: 'Walk Away Renee" Experimental Film from Years Ago?]

Of course Mark is right; it's Warren Sonbert's "Hall of Mirrors." I
believe the movie that is reedited in the first part is "An Act of
Murder" -- I haven't seen this 1948 movie so I can't be completely
certain. A story I heard reliably from more than one source is that
there was a basic undergraduate film class at NYU (Sonbert never liked
to advertise that he went to film school at NYU) that gave out footage
from a scene in this film as an editing assignment.

The "mopey kid" in the second part is Rene Ricard, the song thus
referring to his actual name. The installation in the third part is by
Lucas Samaras.

This is a really great film, by the way.
