I discovered this wonderful little jewel in the smog when I came down
to Los Angeles, and I'd like to recommend it to other Frameworkers:

Besides offering great classes on all aspects of filmmaking to adults,
seniors and local youth, they also have regular screenings of new and
old work, have an excellent film library of DVD, VHS, 16mm and super 8
(soon to be available for searching on-line!), and rent cameras and
other equipment. Did I also mention that they offer the best telecine
deal for locals? They do! The peeps running this place have great
hearts and have kept this going for 5 years now. If you are in Los
Angeles or visiting the area, please stop in some time and consider
becoming a member, taking a class or watching some films there.

Speaking of watching some films, they have weekly screenings on
Thursday nights. For this Thursday:

Thursday, March 8 – All Things Celluloid – 8 PM
EPFC co-founder Ken Fountain presents 16mm & Super 8 oddities from our
private collection. Projected on film in all its glory!

Plus lots of other super screenings and lectures happening the rest of
this month. check the website!

And if you want to show there, they love all kinds of work and
in-person filmmakers. You can learn more about that here

awesome. over and out.
Heather.
