Film Projector Performance

Hi,
I'm looking for performance works with film projection. I remember
seeing one pass a while back on this list where there were custom
modified (16mm??) projectors with several used at a time to show loops
in a cinema setting. Any links appreciated. This request is kind of
vague but hopefully the knowledgeable people on this list can point me
in the right direction.
