strictly speaking although BLUE was premiered on BBC radio, with the
listener invited to look at a blue postcard, it was also projected at
cinemas, I also seem to remember that the blue got richer / darker in
colour as the film progressed, so strictly speaking this would have
been a film and a conceptual non-film.
BTW the john waters' book was called Director's Cut.
