My film "Rate of Change" (1972) has no original - only a score and a
sound track. I asked the lab to take white leader and print it
according to specified timing (grading) lights.
This posed an interesting when I was asked 30 years later to preserve
it for the New York Public Library. What do I preserve? The score,
the leader, the Bell & Howell C-printer for generating new prints?
