A film that used to screen around a bit, at least in
the Bay Area, was MIDNIGHT SON (SUN?) (1993 or so) by
Jerome Cook, that was/is a creepy, very atmospheric,
autumnal mood thing which uses footage from Murnau's
NOSFERATU quite a bit (but not gratuitously). Has some
really good optical printing, kinda from the Bay Area
heyday of the genre. No idea where this film or this
filmmaker are currently, sorry to say.
