It depends on what are your specific requirements. What resolution?
Are you going to edit SD, HD...? Also note that laptops are not the
ideal platforms for editing video. A good place to start knowing what
you should get is the "system requirements" page:

Vendors usually set the "minimum requirements" above the real minimum
level, but working below these can be a real pain...
