I thought about shooting on 2481for part of a film in the mid 90's --
but to do it in 16mm was hardly possible; I would have needed to order ~
$ 8,000 worth - Kodak did not stock it --- (it has a short shelf
life) -- through one of the Photo Instrumentation dealers.

Also, as in 35mm it's estar base, 150' on 100' spool. So would have
needed a camera that would handle the estar base (Filmo ?)

I thought about shooting 35mm since there was essentially no one
shooting it in 16mm and was not about to pay that minimum charge but
decided not to. (Along with the other issues with IR shooting).

It can be beautiful, no question but Near IR photography is one area
where digital has the practical advantage.
