Y'all,
Having just been on two shoots with lots of air travel, I worried about
letting the tapes get as cold as the hold. So I made sure I carried them
all on in my personal item. (And doesn't that sound suggestive?)
Watch out for the regional jets where you think you're going to carry on
your camera but they make you check it at the door of the plane! Keep your
tapes with you.
Plus, for most of my projects, the tapes are literally irreplaceable.
While equipment, though dear, is mass-produced stuff.
