I am posting here as I 'm a reader of the discussions that go on
though feel rarely inclined to post as I've never had the need nor the
wit to be incolved with the discussions.
That said, my deal is this: I'm relocating to NYC and am appealing to
the experimental film community there that is part of Frameworks (that
I'm part of too, though I work narratively mostly) for perhaps a room
to rent. Or maybe word of a room available. I'm a nascent filmmaker
and thus will be looking for freelance work. But first I need a place
to live. I have money saved for the relocation and job search.
I have studied at Massart with Saul Levine, Ericka Beckman, Mark
Lapore, and Gretchen Skogerson. I know that Ericka and Gretchen live
in NYC, so, hi! to them. Lately I've been gathering footage rather
than working on a specific project (of my own). I plan to spend a
month writing when I move, and then submitting the writing, and then
pounding pavement for gainful employment.
So, if you'd perhaps need a roommate or know someone that will
starting in Nov. that is involved in filmmaking and writing and
photography and can collaborate with you or work with you or just ol'
discuss intellectual film things with you, then let me know.
Thanks
Adam Marchand
