Just seeing this post concerning the Film Comment issue from 2006 with
the excellent article on Mark LaPore wrtitten by Tom Gunning.
I have requested that this article be posted on the on- line edition
archive of Film Comment ( if the standard contractual approval was
given consent by the author) but I am not sure that this is likely
happen at this stage.
For a hard copy you can go to the Film Comment website and order back
issues.
In the meantime anyone who writes to me privately off list will be
sent a pdf of those pages with the article and the images.
I am writing a 4000 word chapter on Mark LaPore that is due to appear
in an upcoming book, an anthology of essays concerned with filmmakers
who went to India to make features and short films. More about that in
the future. If there is unpublished or in progress writing on Mark
LaPore that anyone is aware of I would appreciate hearing about it.
Thank You.
