NEW LOCATION FOR TONIGHT:
Echo Park Film Center

Los Angeles CA 90026
A few weeks ago Filmforum asked you, the audience, our trusty email
list members, for your choices from the vast Canyon Cinema catalogue.
Rarely screened classics, curiosities, forgotten wonders? We
received enough selections for a couple of shows. We'll have a second
show in the spring, but here are your picks for a great show. Please
note that we are NOT AT THE EGYPTIAN THEATRE TONIGHT, but will be
screening at the incredible Echo Park Film Center. Due to various
festivals, we can't get our regular venue every week. We will have
three shows at the Echo Park Film Center this season.
Tonight:
Runaway (Standish Lawder, 1969, 16mm, b&w/so, 6 min.)
Book of Dead (Victor Faccinto, 1978, 16mm, color/si, 15 min.)
Blutrausch Bloodlust (Thorston Fleisch, 1999, 16mm, color/sound,
4:15 min.)
3/60: Baume im Herbst (Trees in Autumn) (Kurt Kren, 1960, 16mm,
b&w/so, 5 min.)
Miss Jesus Fries on Grill (Dorothy Wiley, 1973, 16mm, color/so, 12min.)
What the Water Said, No, 1-3 (David Gatten, 1997-1998, 16mm, b&w/so,
16 min.)
Billabong (Will Hindle, 1969, 16mm, color/so, 9 min.)
Displaced Person (Daniel Eisenberg, 1981, 16mm, b&w/so, 11 min.)
