if they are scratches in the emulsion (colored or if very deep they might be white) theres not a lot to do to help the situation
if they are scratches in the base (black) printing or transfering with a wet gate could help a lot

I have some 16mm film which has a bunch of scratches which were not intentional, is there a way to fill in the scratches and fix the film it self?
If I wanted to make a print would I be able to do so and and not transfer the scratches onto the print?
If I were going to video, would a wetgate transfer remove most of the scratches, would transferring from a new print provide better results?
Thanks a bunch.
