Dear Friends,
If you are Boston on Wednesday, please come out to this screening of
videos produced at LAB. It's going to be a good fall evening. Hope to
see you there.
Best
Lili

16:9 WIDESCREEN: A Selection of Hi-Definition video works
Presented at MassArt Film Society on November 14th 2007
massartfilmsociety.blogspot.com
Tonight's selection of works display the unique and expansive qualities
of High Definition video. Most of these works were created at LAB HD, a
High Definition Video Artist residency based in New York. The filmmakers
kindly donated their films for this screening to support a unique moment
in time where a think tank in an adventurous television station was open
to sharing their technical facility. This friendly and collaborative
environment encouraged exchanges between artists, filmmakers and
engineers. Within a small scale operation, an intimate atmosphere for
cross-pollination of ideas and concepts blossomed.
