Assuming you did have the filter holder in the slot... If it's a blue
line, you must be shooting color. Is is reversal or negative? If it's
negative, and you're seeing the line on the workprint, the first
thing, of course, is to check the neg with a magnifying glass to see
if it has a corresponding line. If indeed the line was added at the
lab, there's a chance it was added in the print stage, and not in the
negative-processing stage.
