Dominic is referring to Standish Lawder's homemade
contact printer, which was used to make his films
Runaway and Corridor.
Actually, this email being sent to the list gave me
the excuse I'd been needing to put up a blog of some
kind to periodically share images or news about
preservation of experimental work. I've put the photo
and a brief explanation here:

Feel free to post comments. I'd like to keep adding
things to the blog, as long as the relevant people are
OK with it, i.e. filmmakers and so forth.

a retrospective coming up at Anthology next month,
which I highly recommend checking out if you can.
