Dear Frameworkers,*
*After that brief flurry of DOMESTIC SPACE postings, I all but forgot to put
this on this week's announcements. Thanks again for the help, and if any of
you need some Winter Hibernation Tips, please do stop by. Details are
below...
Yours,

THE INSIDEOUTSIDE SHOW *
7:00 on Wednesday the 12th of December
at Gallery 2
847 West Jackson Blvd., 2nd floor
Chicago, IL 60607
(FREE)
When the sky grew dark at 4:00pm and the Chicago air turned from snowy grey
to black, we hardly noticed a thing. We might have peeked through
thecat-chewed blinds or taken our small dog OUTSIDE for a quick
minute, but in
all likelihood we stayed INSIDE, busily re-acquainting ourselves with
thewidth of our bedroom walls (
*Gehr)*, the play of light on our kitchen table (*Jennings*), the ghosts in
our television set ( *Geiser*), and the hairy purple papier mache dolls in
our closet (*Marro and Brinkman*). Inasmuch as our living spaces reflect
our inner lives, these 8 films turn the INSIDE OUTSIDE, make the domestic
exterior for your wintry eyes. Ranging from observed shallow-focus space (*
Pierce*) to constructed spooky space (*Rivers*) to metaphoric desert-love
space (*Lertxundi*) to flickering OUTSIDE-INSIDE space (*Conrad*), this
program is a prescription for Making It Through the Winter Indoors...
Presented in conjunction with the Gallery 2 exhibition "You're In My Space"
(from 12/7-1/12)
