Hello Jo,
I realize that the Adobe website goes pretty deep in regards to support, training and tutorials, so maybe you should also check the Support section:
www.adobe.com/support/premiere/
I also know that they have these how-to type videos up there as well
This goes across the board for all their products, like After Effects and Flash.
