Actually I don't think it's fucked up.  That was the point of my original note, but I apologize if the tone didn't make it clear.
By being a "mock doc" it raises a variety of issues associated with direct cinema, with gender exploitation.
But since it's a mock doc, we can know that he didn't actually explot or abuse a woman "for real."
There's some decent discussion of it in the book F Is for Phony.
Why do you believe that it is fucked up?
