In case anyone's interested, Curtis Harrington
*should* be appearing in the Oscars 'memorial' segment
this evening. I'm not sure what clips they ended up
using, but there may be brief shots from his two
earliest films, The Fall of the House of Usher (1942)
and Fragment of Seeking (1946), and possibly from his
last film, Usher (2002).
best to everybody -
mark t
p.s. Also, I'm currently about 3/4 finished with the
restoration work on Curtis's first feature Night Tide,
which will hopefully screen here and there once it's
ready.
