I think your problem may be either the spring (tough to fix) or the
governor (much easier). For either, you might get help from Abdul in NYC. I
believe he has K3 experience, and he's been known to fix problems that more
established places like TCS have turned-down due to lack of parts. (We use
him for all of our Bolex repairs at Cooper Union Art School and he is
excellent, inexpensive, but not terribly quick to turn things around.)
