frame discreet in toronto does frame accurate 16mm xfer and can give
you 8 bit or DV quicktimes. It's a lot less than the big post houses
but more than settting up a video camera and shooting it off a
screen... I have had some success doing it this way with a DVX 100B
shooting at 24P... less flicker issue than at 30 but sometimes you'll
notice exposure flutter in the highlight areas.
