What format is your video? If it is progressive, the
Final Cut Pro Export and the VLC player methods will
both get you a good image. If it is interlaced, you
will may need to apply a de-interlacing filter to get
a clear image. You can either do this before the
export in FCP or after the export in Photoshop.
