Film friends
If you visited Anthology from 1990-2007 you might have met Max, our cat. She lived in the office and often traveled throughout the building. We're holding a memorial screening this Saturday at 8pm which will include new reminiscences by Jonas Mekas, 4 cat films by Brakhage (who, seriously, was one of Max's favorite filmmakers), Martha Colburn, Hollis Frampton and, I believe, some of Pola Chapelle's cat film omnibus INTERCAT 69.
